Thaidene Nëné Profiled in New Book on Area-based Conservation and Sustainable Development10/28/2021
Protected and conserved areas are important for sustainable development. BUILDING ON NATURE is an action-oriented guide for the designation and effective management of protected and conserved areas. The volume features 30 case studies that illustrate how area-based conservation is already meeting sustainable development goals (SDGs) in practice. We are honoured that the Thaidene Nëné Indigenous Protected Area was included as a case study in the chapter of BUILDING ON NATURE that demonstrates how protected and conserved areas can reduce inequality.
