Indigenous Co-GovernanceŁutsël K’é Dene First Nation worked with partners to establish the Thaidene Nëné Fund for capacity building, promoting the Dene way of life, and business development associated with Thaidene Nëné. Through a private partnership, Łutsël K’é Dene secured $15 million, which was matched by the federal government for a total of $30 million that will underpin community stewardship and economic diversification.

Canadian Parks and Wilderness SocietyThe Canadian Parks & Wilderness Society (CPAWS) works with partners and LKDFN to support the Thaidene Nëné initiative. CPAWS’ contributions focus upon facilitating engagements with external parties and the public in order to increase understanding of and build support for the Thaidene Nëné vision.

Nature UnitedNature United and its global affiliate, The Nature Conservancy, has raised $15 million which will be matched by the Canada government to establish the Thaidene Nëné Fund. As a partner of the Łutsël K’é Dene for more than 10 years, Nature United has provided technical expertise to map the cultural and ecological values that resulted in the protected areas's boundaries; and supported Ni Hat’ni Dene, an Indigenous guardian program that monitors ecological values, maintains cultural sites, communicates with tourists, transmits knowledge to younger generations, and more.
