This summer, Thaidene Nëné operations were impacted by wildfires both within the protected area and in other parts of the territory. In spite of these obstacles, our staff had a good summer. We made progress on a number of cabin projects, supported a variety of on the land camps, and hosted visitors from other nations interested in establishing Indigenous protected areas in their territories.
